Glenn Greenwald has Resigned from The Intercept in Protest

  • Greenwald co-founded The Intercept in 2013 with Jeremy Scahill and Laura Poitras.
  • He is best known for publishing a series of reports detailing previously unknown information about American and British global surveillance programs. These reports were based on classified documents provided by Edward Snowden.
  • Greenwald alleges the publication censored a recent article of his pertaining to the Hunter Biden e-mail scandal because of political bias. The publication alleges Greenwald is throwing a “tantrum” and is mischaracterizing the series of events.
