Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan have both been arrested and are being questioned by the Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism in Bucharest, Romania over allegations of human trafficking, forming an organized criminal group, international human trafficking, and rape.
Six victims have reportedly come forward claiming they were sexually exploited by the group. This is the second time that Andrew Tate’s home has been raided in relation to the investigation.
The brothers are alleged to have detained two young women against their will in April, subjecting them to physical violence and mental coercion.
The arrest follows criticism of Andrew Tate by eco-warrior Greta Thunberg after he taunted her on Twitter. Andrew Tate’s social media posts in his exchanges with her, including a video featuring a pizza from a Romanian pizza chain, were reportedly used as evidence to confirm his presence in the country.

Greta Thunberg, a well-known advocate for environmental issues, received a Twitter provocation from Andrew Tate, an influencer known for misogynistic behavior. Tate boasted about his possession of 33 cars on Twitter and attempted to mock Thunberg.
